VBAT project

This NHMRC funded project aims to develop and validate the Australian Vaccine Barriers Assessment Tool, to enable health services to identify and address key barriers to parent uptake of childhood vaccination. Dr Carissa Bonner is advising on behaviour change theory to ensure that the tool covers all possible drivers of behaviour, broadly based on the COM-B model: capability (e.g. knowledge, skills). opportunity (e.g. cost, access), and motivation (e.g. habits, attitudes).
