Applied and Translational Health Literacy Research: The Lab conducts applied and translational health literacy research projects, related to – for example:

  • the measurement of health literacy in populations and at organisational levels (using qualitative and quantitative methods)

  • co-design, implementation and evaluation of health literacy programs and initiatives

  • readability, document design and plain language summaries 

We partner with a number of organisations in this work, including the NSW Health Statewide Health Literacy Hub.
